Meet Michelle
Michelle started The Brown Bag in Bar Harbor, Maine in 2005 — feeding locals, cruise-ship travelers and national-park visitors on the harbor. She brought it south to downtown Sarasota and never left the counter.
Two decades in kitchens and dining rooms, a certified sommelier, and — ask any regular — one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Folks come in as much to see Michelle as they do for the food. The warmth, the atmosphere, the care she and her team put into every plate: that's how The Brown Bag has quietly become downtown Sarasota's hidden gem.
